I’m a 65 year old pensioner from Germany and will be travelling to Toronto from November 10 to 25 to visit a dear friend who is seriously ill and currently staying at Toronto General Hospital. Being able to spend time with her is the main reason for my trip.
I’m an independent person who is used to travelling on my own and organising my days independently. I’m tidy, considerate and reliable, and I respect other people’s homes, privacy and routines. I enjoy friendly conversations and getting to know people, but I’m equally happy doing my own thing and don’t expect my hosts to entertain me.
For my stay, I’m looking for a private room with my own bed. I’m not looking to share a bedroom or bed with my host. I’m also allergic to cats, so I would need accommodation in a cat-free home.
Unfortunately, my original accommodation plans fell through, so I’m now looking for an affordable place to stay. My total budget for the entire stay is CAD 300. I realise this is a limited budget, but I hope there may be someone who can offer a simple, affordable arrangement.
