About this homestay
To: Parents, Guardians, Students
We have a bedroom in the lower level of my home, available for September 1, 2023. Our home is smoke and drug free. We are situated in a quiet, clean, safe, and multicultural neighbourhood in Welland, Ontario. We are close to all major transit systems (Welland, Niagara Falls, St. Catherines). We are close to grocery stores, plazas, schools, gyms, beaches, libraries, and nature trails. Niagara College is 13 minutes away by car, 17 minutes away from Brock University, outlet shopping malls 30 minutes away.
The room is modern, on the basement level with a window. It is clean, comfortable with a keyed door. It is completely furnished with amenities included: 1 room - 1 full bed , access to galley style kitchen with two seating table, rain shower in bathroom, chair, WIFI internet, utilities, separate laundry facilities, iron, and closet. Linen can be provided. The upkeep is the tenant’s responsibility. You have access to the backyard. Meals are not included.
Upper level consists of four separate bedrooms (key locked) - master bedroom with ensuite bathroom and private balcony. 2 bedrooms with full size beds, 1 bedroom with XLsingle bed. Plus additional full bedroom. Main level have 1/2 bath shared kitchen and laundry available. Perfect for a group of students or working singles.
Our family consists of myself (Monique), and my adult son, (Ruel). We are an outgoing, fun, and friendly 7th Generation Afro-Canadian born family. We want you to be comfortable in our home. Your visit with us will be a positive and memorable experience. Filled with a family environment and Canadian culture.
No overnight guests or parties are permitted. One month’s notice is appreciated when planning to vacate the home. If you need more information about our accommodations, please reach out.
1,250 each tenant double occupancy or single occupancy fee is $1,900. (Basement)
