Homestay in Old Toronto

Two bedroom apartment shared only with one other person, the host!

Building is located in the bustling neighborhood of Eglinton & Redpath in Toronto. Steps away from the subway station with access to Line 1 and Line 5, as well as easy bus access. Close to trendy cafes, and local shops, this location offers a perfect blend of convenience and charm. Private room with closet features brand-new twin MALM Ikea bed, with brand-new mattress. Dresser, night-table and bed linens included in furnishings. (Water-proof mattress and pillow encasements must be left on; cotton layers are provided for on top) Shared with one other person: bathroom, balcony, and kitchen. In-room air conditioning included from June -August, as well as in-building washer & dryer, high-speed fibre optic internet, and elevator. Plus, there's indoor bicycle parking available in the building's garage for your convenience. Host is a 40 year old female and working professional who works from home 2-5 days a week, therefore it is best if the Homestayer is a student, traveller or working professional who will be outside of the home for 8 hours a day or more on week days, from approximately 8:00am - 5:00pm which are the hosts working hours, Monday through Friday.

Homestayers are expected to clean up after themselves promptly in common areas which include kitchen, dining area and bathroom leaving none of their personal affects on counters and putting away all dishes, etc. after use. The host will be responsible for a deep weekly clean

Homestayers will be provided a cupboard in the kitchen for their things, can use dishes, microwave, stove, oven, kettle, toaster, pots, pans and cutlery. They will also have access to assigned fridge and freezer space.

Hosts Expectations of Homestayers:
No smoking or vaping indoors and no cigarette smoking on balcony.
No pets
No excessive drinking
No guests
No loud music; headphones expected when we are both home unless we both agree
No loud TV after 8:30pm (headphones after 8:30pm)
Clean up promptly after cooking / eating
Light daily cooking and weekly or biweekly meal prep is fine. Heavy daily cooking is not desired.
